Looking forward to Camp 2022

Rodger Moyer is our camp evangelist for our camp this summer and we are looking forward to seeing him again. He was our camp evangelist in 2012.

Rev. Rodger Moyer grew up in a Pastoral home with the Evangelical United Brethren Church. His father later served as Director of a Peniel Missions in California, Oregon, and Washington for World Gospel Mission. His mother was director of an unwed mother’s home and was a nurse. Rodger was called to the ministry at a Camp Meeting at the age of 6. In 1985 he graduated from Vennard Bible College and has been pastoring in the East Central Conference of the Evangelical Church since that time. He was ordained in 1987. He pastored in Marion, Ohio for three years; Shiloh, Ohio for 10 years; and 21 years in Sturgis, MI. He presently is serving Litchfield Congregational Church and as chaplain at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis. Over the past 39 years Rev. Moyer has been blessed to have preached many revival meetings and in several Camp meetings throughout the United States. Rev. Moyer has authored five books: “What They Had We Need”, “What We Need To Know and Never Let Go”, “The Last Days and Rapture of the Church”, “The Apostles Creed”, and most recently, “A Fresh Vision”. Also, he has an altar booklet entitled “It’s All About Power.” Rev. Moyer has been faithful to preach both the saving and sanctifying grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has a wife, Joyce, to whom he has been married 44 years. He has two daughters, Amanda (34) and Julie (29).
